Where can I bring my used vape items?

Reusable vapes contain lithium-ion batteries and nicotine/cannabis/CBD, therefore they’re considered pharmaceutical & hazardous waste in Snohomish and King counties. Empty nicotine cartridges can be thrown in the regular trash. Nicotine-based vape devices can be dropped off at the following locations:

Cannabis e-liquid or vape devices are not accepted at hazardous waste facilities in the above counties. Check if your items can be taken to the shops you’ve purchased from since some offer to take back and recycle.
